1.13 support and PocketMine transfer

Hey,

I own a PocketMine network and have recently decided that NukkitX might be a better server type for me. But first, I would like to ask a few questions regarding transferring:

Does NukkitX support 1.13 (if not, are there any ETAs?)

Could I just switch server type from PocketMine to NukkitX - or are there formatting differences? (And if there are, can you convert world's between formats?)

Nukkit has experimental 1.13 builds which can be found from here: https://ci.nukkitx.com/job/NukkitX/job/Nukkit/job/bedrock-1.13/
You can convert worlds using this: https://nukkitx.com/resources/pmanvil-converter.41/
PMMP plugins doesn't work on Nukkit but there is many good Nukkit plugins available for free at https://nukkitx.com/resources/

Hi, currently you can use experimental builds of nukkit that supports 1.13. However Synapse hasn't been updated yet, but it will be soon. The main difference is that PocketMine is written in PHP while nukkit is in java so it doesn't support pocketmine plugins. There's a way to run some simple spigot/bukkit plugins on nukkit though. And about plugins, just go through the resources page and look for plugins you need. But you should find an alternative for the most of pocketmine plugins. Also some big spigot plugins were ported to nukkit such as PlotSquared, FAWE or LuckPerms

I currently have 1.12 installed. How do I proceed with updating to the experimental 1.13? I was unable to find any instructions/guides. And how do I prevent the update from overwriting the currently saved world with our buildings etc?

The announcement of 1.13 builds is on #announcements channel on Discord. You find the builds from this link: https://ci.nukkitx.com/job/NukkitX/job/Nukkit/job/bedrock-1.13/
Notice that some plugins will need update to work on 1.13 builds. The update shouldn't do anything to your world.
