PocketVote Java Error

Hi, when I tried to load the PocketVote plugin, I was given an error message stating that PocketVote was compiled with a more recent version of Java runtime (class file version 53.0) but my version of Java Runtime only recognizes up to class file version 52.0. I am currently running the latest version of Java 8 (Update 191). Do I need to download something else or is this the Plugin's fault? Either way how can I fix it? Thanks. Thanks for the answer, I ended up using PeterM1’s Java 8 version.
